Over the past 37 years of working in the transportation industry I have had the privilege to work with great some organizations within the safety and compliance and training area, as an employee and consultant gaining and sharing knowledge and experience with those various safety challenges and changes carriers face today.

Myself and our team and associates welcome the opportunity to face those challenges along side you and work with you and your team to conquer each one and help you build sustainable tools to promote a sound safety culture.

Transportation and Logistics companies have been and continue to be faced with significant increases in operational costs today. They come in the form of driver recruiting and retention cost , fuel cost, increased insurance cost, and wages, which in most cases are attributed to economical challenges the transportation industry has been dealing with. Add safety costs including staffing, collisions, injuries, insurance claims and damages, carriers are faced with very difficult decisions to remain operational and in some cases left with no alternative but to reduce headcount and/or downsize just to remain in business. Most newly licensed truck drivers although qualified by their local driver examination center, and received basic training from a truck driver training school, they lack certain skills which typically would come with experience. Unfortunately the carriers that hire newly licensed or limited experienced drivers are faced with a higher risk of incidents . Transportation Safety Plus offers train the trainer programs for those drivers that have demonstrated safe behaviors and looking to support their company's training program as trainers or mentors.
